Steeda's all new billet hood strut kit is the perfect way to dress up the engine bay of your Stang. Made out of billet 6061 aluminum, they are light weight and come engraved with the Steeda name. OEM quality gas struts are included in this kit. Steeda has engineered this kit to fit and function better than the other kits on the market. There are clearance reliefs in the brackets for the washer fluid hose and a rubber bump stop on the underside to protect the paint on the underside of your hood.


No drilling or modifications required for Installation.

Not recommended for use with aftermarket hoods

Exclusively designed by Shelby Performance Parts and Scott Drake for the 2005-08 ford mustang with stock hood. This is more than a set. It’s really a system. Extensive engineering has gone into making our hood pins function as well as they look. The 6061-t6 billet aluminum plates are precision-machined then brushed before being clear anodized. Specially designed Delrin bushings secure the stainless steel linch pins to the plates and prevents scratching and wear. Vinyl covered stainless steel lanyards keep track of the lynch pins when the hood is open. The adjustable hood pins and retaining nuts are highly polished stainless steel to catch the eye and provide years of service. Special mounting brackets are also included. Permanent modifications to the hood and radiator cover panel are required.
